USE OF PERSUASIVE LANGUAGE IN ADVERTISEMENTS and PROMOTIONAL MESSAGES

LEARNING POINT - A discursive essay NOT ONLY explains, it PERSUADES and tries to CONVINCE and WIN any reader OVER to the writer's side.

We believe great-tasting food starts with the best quality ingredients.  It is in tandem with our longstanding commitment to give our customers the best.  Which is why when it comes to food, we are known for having one of the most rigorous standards of food safety and food quality in the world.  So, the next time you enjoy your favourite meal with us, know that you are biting into one hundred percent quality - any less is simply not good enough.

We serve only top quality beef.  No additives, no binders and certainly no fillers.  Our beef patties are cooked on a grill, with no extra oil added.  Only a little salt and pepper is added during cooking.

We use only prime white fish found in the deep waters of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.  The fish is sealed using a special quick-freeze process to lock in its ocean-fish quality.

For chickens, only the choicest cuts are used in our restaurants.  This includes boneless breast fillets and thighs purchased at peak quality, approved by the Agri-food and Veterinary Authority (AVA), as is with every other fresh ingredient we use.

We simply love to serve eggs at breakfast.  Only the freshest eggs are used.  In accordance with a strict routine, the eggs are washed and sanitised to remove all signs of dirt from the shells, then oiled to seal in optimum freshness and quality.

Last but not least, our world-famous French fries.  We use only Russet Burbank variety of potatoes.  That explains the fluffy inside, crispy outside of our fries.  Cooked in one hundred percent vegetable oil, our fries do not contain gluten, wheat nor beef extract flavouring.

At our restaurants, we are committed to serving up the best with one hundred percent quality food.  Like you, we believe in eating right and leading balanced and active lifestyles.
