CIP – The Prevention of Cruetly to Animals


As the chairman of 5B. I have shosen one good service learning under the Community Involvement Programe to volunteer. My classmates have the class to have our service learning under the Society for the Prevention of Cruetly to Animals.


I have done a survey for the class before on thing they like. Most of them the answers are pets. This can be a great chance for my class to show their love to the animals in the SPCA. SPCA is always need volunteers and it is a non-profit organization that looks after the welfare of animals which have been abandoned. We could benefit them by volunteering over there. I can asure to you that it will be an interesting and meaningful CIP for my class. It can help the class to be more bonded together and we could learn how to look after a pet. We will learn. the abandon. animals. sad story.


There are also other classmates who suggested some ideal. I had rejected the idea. Going overseas to help les fortunate counterpart. It is going to be very costly for such trip. Not all of our classmates could afford this trip. Eventhough it will benefits our skills and friendship, it will be very troublesome and time consuming too. We need to find the organization through overseas and book transport to go to our destination.


Serving at Singapore Children’s Society or Movement for the Intellectually Disable of Singapore could be a troublesome task for our class to do. We needed to spent a week there to volunteer. We will have to volunteer them everyday after school. It will be very tiring for us onces we reached home. We will not have enough time to study as we are a graduating class. It will end up being a choice for us, Benifiting us.


Picking up litters at the beach, can be inconvenient for us. My classmates object this suggestion when this suggestion was made. This CIP will not be as positive as going to SPCA for CIP. We can learn even meaningful things Taking more responsibility of handling our own things. This are some core values in our school that uphold them.


This are my views of this suggestion. I hope that you can consider my final choice. If there are any problem, I will do my best to solve it. I will not give you any problem. You can asure that.
