You are nominated to speak on the learning experience of your class during the next school assembly.  Write a speech to briefly describe and share your collective experience with the school and to persuade the principal to grant you permission to conduct a fund-raising activity in school in aid of that organisation.

In your speech, you must touch on the following points in detail:

  • the reasons for your choice
  • the efforts and the achievements of your class which benefited that organisation
  • the reasons for the need to raise funds for that organisation

and any other matter which is relevant, meaningful and worth sharing with others.

Remember that your speech is a talk whcih is unaccompanied by any other visual presentation.  You are expected to write in clear, accurate English and in an appropriate tone for the occasion.
